Summer 2009
So far the summer has been great! 3 days in London with my two brothers and a week in Greece on Syros with my dad and the rest of the family. Both were great!
Now I'm back in Malmö working and counting days: 3 weeks and 3 days untill U2's concert in London with me in the audience, which means only 4 weeks and 3 days untill I leave for my field work period in UGANDA!!... One minut I'm so exited about Uganda that I almost can't wait, while the next I'm close to panicking not wanting to go at all. Well, the ticket is bougth and it is one of the last obstacles standing between me and a Master's degree so it's a question of just doing it! And I know it's gonna be great!
After 10 weeks of fieldwork the plan is to take a few weeks off and go to South Africa to hook up with Martin! This part I'm particularly looking forward to: an adventure with my man, can't get any better ;o) Then back to some more fieldwork before going home for christmas and for good. Awaiting then as the last obstacle to overcome is my master thesis before I finally can brag about having a master's degree and get the job at the UN I've been dreaming about forever!
FYI, this blog will probably be the only place I'll document my adventures while in Uganda. Hope to see you here soon!
